چکیده

BaY2F8 nanoparticles (NPs), doped with Yb3+ and Er3+ ions, were successfully produced by high-energy ball-milling. High-quality monoclinic single crystals (sp. gr. C2/m, a = 0.6969(3), b 1.0502(1), c 0.4254(1) nm, β 99.676°) grown from the melt Bridgman technique used as raw materials. The prepared nanocrystals comprehensively studied X-ray diffraction analysis, transmission electron microscopy, optical spectroscopy. fabrication possibility of single-phase irregular shaped Ba(Y0.964Yb0.030Er0.006)2F8 NPs in size range 20–100 nm milling duration 10 h at 600 rpm is demonstrated. show intense luminescence both up- (λ 540 650 nm) down-conversion 1540 mechanisms upon IR excitation 980 nm). A qualitative comparison spectroscopic characteristics initial bulk crystal widely up-conversion β-Na1.5(Y1.17Yb0.3Er0.03)F6 presented. Experimental data offer great opportunities applications nanophotonics biotechnology. High-energy ball-milling has potential versatile method for scalable production fluoride nanoparticles.

Preparation and Characterization of Rare Earth Doped Fluoride Nanoparticles

This paper reviews the synthesis, structure and applications of metal fluoride nanoparticles, with particular focus on rare earth (RE) doped fluoride nanoparticles obtained by our research group. Nanoparticles were produced by precipitation methods using the ligand ammonium di-n-octadecyldithiophosphate (ADDP) that allows the growth of shells around a core particle while simultaneously avoiding...

Preparation and characterization of CaF2:Ce3+ nanoparticles with spectroscopic studies

In this research Calcium fluoride nanoparticles and its different amount of cerium ion dopant (5%and 10%) were prepared. The mentioned nanoparticle were studied by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) , X-ray diffraction (XRD), absorption and photoluminescence spectra (PL) and Scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The XRD patterns indicate a typical cubic fluorite structure and no other...

Synthesis and Characterization of High Coercivity Rare-earth Ion Doped

Influence of replacing Sr ions by rare-earth ions (RE) ions on the structural and magnetic properties of high coercivity (Hc) SrFe10Al2O19 hexaferrite have been investigated using X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimeter, and SQUID. A 73% increase in intrinsic coercivity is observed for Al doped SrFe10Al2O19 as compared to that of pure SrFe12O19. Th...
